Cooking workshop

We had a wonderful time in our cooking workshop the last Thursday!  

First of all we started the workshop doing a little presentation of what we were doing and also a little presentation of all the ingredients we were going to use. 

After that, we all moved to the kitchen where all the ingredients were ready and we started the activity. 

First of all, while we were melting the chocolate, we introduced a stick in our Oreos, then when the chocolate was already melted, we dipped our oreo into it, and we covered it all. 

Then, we topped the Oreo with confetti sprinkles immediately before the chocolate hardened. 

 When we finished our Oreo pops we had some chocolate left, so we decided to do something else with it! 

We couldn't wait to eat them, but first, we had to let them dry, so while our cooking creations were drying we went to the classroom to write down our recipe and also, we created some tags to put in our Oreo Pops

Later, the chocolate wasn't dry yet so we went outside and did some great games. 

We played the cowboy game with food flashcards, we also played with our food memory game and with a giant version of 3 in a row. 

They loved it!

Finally, our Oreo's were already dry so we put the tags on to show our parents our creation!  

For some of the kids it only took few seconds to start eating their Oreo pops, though.
