We learn the shapes in a really fun way

27/6/17

Guess what?

Summer camp has started and we really enjoyed the 1rst day!

First of all we did a little bit of introduction of the topic, where we learned the name of each shape  and its properties. Later on, when we were all ready to identificate all the shapes we started the games!

We played a game where they had to score a ball into a basket and then they had a chance to shoot a water gun against a paper. The kids didn't know what would happen with those sheets at the time, but they really enjoy the game.

Later, while we were waiting our pictures to dry, we divided the class into two groups and we did a shapes hunt. The pupils had to go around looking for shapes, and they had to try to  explain where they found each one.  Both of the teams did it brilliantly, and they found a lot of shapes!

  Well done guys!

When we finished the shape hunt we were so tired and it was so hot and our sheets weren't dry yet, so we decided to do a really fun game with water balloons. Some of the kids got a little bit wet but it was fine, they loved it!

Finally, after this game our sheets were already dry so we could finish them at last!
We took out the tape and we got these shapes in white, they looked so good! We all did a really good job with our water guns, we are great artists!
At the end they all wrote down the names of each shape, and the pictures were ready to be hanging in a museum!

Finally, we had few minutes left before our parents came to pick us up, so we decided to play a little bit with our twister of shapes.

It's been a really good day!!

See you on thursday!
